Simple, Southern Elegance!

There is something so lovely about the simplicity of a classic southern wedding with a lot of candle light and a simple color palette! This wedding was designed by the amazing Andy Beach. His flowers and event decor are always so polished and this wedding is a great representation of his fabulous designs! I love the way the bright green contrasts against the black bridesmaid dresses and white table linens. This wedding took place at the Atlanta History Center. The beautiful ground of the Swan House was perfect for this ceremony, and the reception followed in the spacious ballroom complete with huge windows and shiny dance floor.

Andy used fresh calla lilies to create a clean, delicate bouquet... beautiful!

These hydrangeas create such a statement as the bridal party made their grand entrance for all the guests to see. I think it creates a dreamy look that will definitely be remembered as the guests moved to the reception.

First of all that expression is priceless... These beautiful bridesmaids are glowing as the bride and her father made their way to the groom. But my eyes go  to these stunning bouquets. They remind me of the splendor of souther weddings: soft, airy, comfortable elegance, pure! GORGEOUS!

One of my very favorite things about event decor is repeating something simple, like these vases above. It makes such a huge statement in its own way. This tablescape is a perfect statement, not over the top but very elegant with the roatation of the white and green flowers. Notice the contrast with the black napkin... everything to the last detail is tended to as it should be on your wedding day!
